Penrabibt is a solo-production studio with the goal of creating projects through short stories, novels, animations, games, and other art mediums to being joy and inspire others to write their story a better one.
The core idea is that the studio is focused on creating projects with high excellence, while still being inspired by Christianity. We point our lessons towards the Bible, and Christ does the inspiration!
As of now... Nothing is happening and I'm doing this all by myself!
Me! My name is Matthew and this is something I wanted to do since forever! It really started off as a promise to create and focus more into creative content as a Christian.
I loved the internet as I grew interest in art, music, games, and storywriting because of it. I ended up taking Computer Science as my career, but I would end up going through these hobbies time and time again. It's after I got into storywriting that realized that I can use these gifts to pursue in creating varoius mediums and sharing the gospel that feels natural.
There's this emphasis on making a genuine project with great excellence, while still be inspired by the Bible. It's extremely tricky, but I believe it creates more unique and niche content that couldn't be found else where!
(I'm that fish... His name is Mint.)I truly want to share my faith in this unique way. The stories and games I grew up with has this impact on others, and I realized the weight and power of these creative projects have on us. I want to take the creative librety of taking a shot in creating projects inspired with the Bible my faith in Christianity is based on.
And I want to create things and point to the truth in a way that feels natural. There's bound to be biased for my belief, but I want to explore and create dicussions - something that isn't one-sided. But it's hard, especially since the word of God is the absolute truth.
I want to embrace the things that are uncomfortable to bear and comforting to hear because of facing the truths based on reality and within the Bible. But still have moments of joy, and hopefully, get a chuckle out of you!
It is a bold claim to say that the Bible is the absolute truth, but that's what I believe in. I believe it's through God that can actually inspire others to write their story a better one. It's not through whatever we'll create, but redirecting to the truth, to Jesus Christ, that creates that impact.
However, at the end of the day, they're still stories. Not to force beliefs, but to give a perspective to genuinely consider. I'm doing this out of love and the joy that God has given to me to the point that I want to boldly share the good news. We're still people, and people deserve to hear it of how much Jesus Christ loved us so dearly because of what he has done at the cross.
And if you found out our projects and wanted to know more of Christ. Then simply read the Bible and start with the book of John and Hebrews.
For how we'll do it in a way that feels natural, enjoyable, and genuine is the greatest challenge that I'm willing to take! After all, our story is begging to be written, it simply can't wait!
Amittai is the little mascot for the studio. I named him after one of my favorite stories which is from the book of Jonah. I actually didn't know who Amittai was before I read it again.
But it's through the book of Jonah where I realized that this is something that I have to do. Especially since I had to go through a breaking and be risen up weeks after back in 2023. The name actually came from Jonah's father and it means, "my truth". Seeing the little blob of ink will be a reminder for why I even pursue this goal of mine.
A reminder of my passion found in writing down ideas, worlds, and characters I've came up with. To write stories in a way that's meaningful and leading to what is true.
(He's such adorbs. I love him!)
Funnily enough, before all of this. This was originally my personal account and the mascot is the fish! The fish's name is Mint... Then there's Amittai - it sounded like a pin. This is unironically was one of the reasons I realized this is in God's will.
He does have a sense of humor, and I never laughed so hard. The fact it took me 3 weeks after I created him and the first site made it extremely funny.
