What is Penrabbit?

Penrabbit is a solo production studio with the goal of utilizing our creative gifts and talents from God to bring joy and inspire others to write their story a better one through Christ.

The core idea is that we'll be creating projects with high excellence and taking some creative liberties while still retaining Biblical foundations and the gospel from the Word of God.

I believe there's a genuine need for more creators to spread the gospel through the gifts has given us. This is one of the many ways we'll share the truth as it has transformed many lives, including myself.

Action Plan

This action plan will grow as time goes on, but we'll keep it short and simple.

We will be creating content inspired by our testimonies and from the Bible. And through these works, we're hoping it'll create a bridge to many others who are unfamiliar with the faith and those obessed who are in the fanatic culture of the internet.

Praying that we'll do God's work of evangelism as we're told to share the gospel in Matthew 28:19-20. Though we don't make the disciples, we're hoping they'll come to the church God is placing them and to be genuinely saved through Jesus Christ.

Who are involved?

You can check those who are involved through here.

However, since it's just me. My name is Matthew! Or back then my internet persona was "Fish with Headphones" or "Mint-lody" nowadays. I was completely obessed with the fanatic internet culture back then. It was the life I wanted but not needed.

(Yes, that fish... His name is Mint.)

I loved drawing digitally since I was a teenager. And admittedly, I wanted to be popular in the internet.

I believe I had the potential through my skills and the people I've met - I could make it my job - but I never commit to it. I knew the dark-side of the internet that left me addicted, desentisized and isolated. I disliked the idea of being popular while still having these issues.

But once I've truly met the Lord personally. Everything changed. My life was transformed. Saved through Christ, then transformed by the Holy Spirit.

And I know deep down there are children and youths struggling the same thing. I pray that we'll be one of the many to reach out to those who are in need to hear the truth and be set free that's holding them back from the love from God.

"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord".

Romans 8:38-39 NLT

Nothing can ever separate us from God, but while God is calling out to the lost like the lost sheep, He is calling us for repentence as well. Which is why it's important that the content we created intended to share the gospel always points to the Bible.

Who's Amittai?

Amittai the little blob of ink and is named after Jonah's father, Amittai.

(He's such adorbs. I love him!)

Jonah is one of my favorite stories in the Bible. It's a story that resonated with me especially after growing closer to Jesus Christ. It's a story of obedience, repentance, and mercy. It's something I want to remember as I continue working on many projects.

I created Penrabbit, including Amittai, after months of trials back in 2023, and published a website in the New Years. But the following year followed series of additional trials, but it's through these trials I became the Christian I am today.

Regardless of where I am today, I am called to evangelize regardless of who they are now and then. What matters is that we follow the calling, even if we don't understand at that moment, because God will make the way. It's not through us but through Christ.

It's a reminder to use my passion of creating to write stories in a way that's meaningful and leading to what is true. And that truth is the word of God itself.

Fun Fact!

Before Penrabbit, my previous mascot, or internet persona, of a fish wearing headphones is "Mint"...

Then there's "A-mint-tai"... It's a pun of my former life.

And it took me 3 weeks to realized that! Personally, as you communicate with the Lord, I had numerous moments that I would laugh, and this is one of them.

"To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit." - Jonah 2:6 NLT
